In Switzerland, it is still quite common to settle the moving and cleaning services directly in cash after the service is completed.
This is a common practice to protect companies, as these services are often performed on a one-time basis and customers are relocating. In most cases, the service is paid for in cash upon completion of the work, or a partial payment is made upfront from the agreed amount if the customer does not want to carry a large sum of money, with the remaining balance to be paid after the service is completed.
Companies usually issue a receipt in duplicate to confirm the payment amount. It is now also common to receive the receipt by email as a PDF. Even if the moving day takes a long time: Make sure that you always receive a receipt.

Payment Terms
Cash Payment
The invoice amount is to be paid in cash by the customer to Clean Profis Reinigungen on the same day, after the moving services have been completed, against receipt, unless otherwise agreed in the contract.
Payments are to be made in cash to the team leader on the moving day. At the customer’s request, it is also possible to pay the amount via invoice within 7 days, without any deduction. Payment by invoice is only available for amounts over CHF 1,000.-, and applies only to the Move.
Payment for the cleaning is always made in cash on the day after the cleaning. If the specified deadline of 7 days is not met, additional reminder fees will be charged to the customer.
Credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, contactless payment.
A payment or deposit via credit/debit card is possible before or after the completion of the work.
Our employees have a card terminal available for this payment method. An additional fee of 3.5% of the agreed price will apply. If you wish to use this payment option, we kindly ask for prior notification (at least 2 days in advance) to arrange this. The remaining payment, unless otherwise agreed, is to be made in cash on-site on the same day after the completion of the work.
Advance Payment / Partial Payment
The invoice amount or a portion of the invoice amount can be paid in advance via bank transfer or postal payment.
In any case, a payment receipt must be provided before the start of the work or sent via email. The remaining balance is to be paid on-site in cash on the same day after the work is completed, unless otherwise agreed.
Credit Card / PayPal Payment
A payment or deposit via credit card/PayPal is possible before the work begins.
We will send you an online link, and you can conveniently make the payment via your credit card or PayPal account on your PC or smartphone. Additional fees of 3.5% of the agreed price will apply. The remaining payment will be due on-site in cash on the same day after the work is completed, unless otherwise agreed.
TWINT – the cashless and contactless payment system
With TWINT, you can pay comfortably and securely using your smartphone. You can start using TWINT immediately, as the verification process is done during registration using your debit card number, IBAN, and date of birth.
Once the authentication is successful, your TWINT account will be immediately activated. Payments to the recipient are processed within seconds. You can send and request money, and amounts will be credited or debited to your account instantly. (It is also possible to charge the amount to your monthly credit card bill.)
